Wilco Aviation Radio Trainer

Welcome to Wilco, an aviation radio training application operated by ACL Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wilco web application (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Wilco, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Wilco is an AI-powered aviation radio communication trainer that provides simulated air traffic control (ATC) interactions. The App includes:

  • 20 training scenarios across taxi, departure, en-route, and approach phases
  • AI-generated ATC responses using GPT-4
  • ICAO standard phraseology validation and feedback
  • Voice input via Web Speech API and TTS output via ElevenLabs
  • Live METAR and TAF weather data integration
  • Performance tracking and improvement analytics
  • Three difficulty levels: Student, Private Pilot, and Advanced

3. Critical Training Disclaimer

Not a Substitute for Flight Training

WILCO IS A SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL TOOL ONLY. IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR ACTUAL FLIGHT TRAINING, INSTRUCTION FROM A CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI), OR ANY FAA-REQUIRED TRAINING PROGRAM.

You must always:

  • Follow the guidance and instruction of your Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
  • Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
  • Complete all required training through an FAA-approved program before acting as pilot in command
  • Never rely solely on Wilco for radio communication proficiency

AI Response Disclaimer

AI-GENERATED ATC RESPONSES ARE SIMULATED AND MAY NOT ACCURATELY REFLECT REAL-WORLD ATC PROCEDURES, PHRASEOLOGY, OR INSTRUCTIONS. Responses are generated by a language model and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or deviations from standard ATC practices. Do not treat AI responses as authoritative instruction on proper radio communication procedures.

Weather Data Disclaimer

METAR and TAF data displayed in Wilco is sourced from third-party providers and is used for training context only. DO NOT use weather data from Wilco for actual flight planning or operational decisions. Always obtain weather briefings from official sources such as 1800wxbrief.com, the FAA, or a certified weather briefing service before any flight.

No Guarantee of Proficiency

Completion of Wilco training scenarios does not certify, guarantee, or imply proficiency in aviation radio communications. Proficiency can only be assessed by a qualified flight instructor in an actual flight training environment.

4. Third-Party Services

Wilco integrates with the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI (GPT-4): Powers AI ATC responses and phraseology validation
  • ElevenLabs: Provides text-to-speech for ATC voice output
  • Web Speech API: Provides browser-based speech recognition for voice input
  • Aviation Weather APIs: Provides METAR and TAF data

We do not control these third-party services and make no representations or warranties about their accuracy, availability, or reliability.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ACL Solutions LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use automated means to access the App without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Resell or redistribute the App or its data
  • Use the App in any situation where real aviation safety is at stake

7. Availability

We strive to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT AI-GENERATED ATC RESPONSES OR PHRASEOLOGY FEEDBACK ARE ACCURATE OR CONSISTENT WITH REAL-WORLD ATC PROCEDURES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACL SOLUTIONS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Personal injury or property damage arising from reliance on the App
  • Aviation incidents or accidents in any way related to use of the App
  • Decisions made based on AI-generated responses or feedback
  • Inaccurate phraseology validation, weather data, or training feedback
  • Any losses arising from reliance on the App for flight training purposes

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY).

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ACL Solutions LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ACL Solutions LLC regarding your use of Wilco.
